"Walk 2 End Homelessness"


NEMA House is hosting a WALK-A-THON to kick off our "OFF THE STREETS" Campaign running from April to July 2009. The funds raised will help to provide more resources for homeless individuals and families in Orlando and surrounding areas; including, but not limited to, food, clothing, housing, mentoring/counseling and much more.

* HOW DO I SIGN-UP TO BE A WALKER/RUNNER *
If you are interested in walking* please email your NAME, PHONE NUMBER & MAILING ADDRESS to events@nemahouse.org or call us at (407) 383-8613 so we can send you a "Walker Packet". The "Walker Packet" will include everything needed for your sponsors to begin making their pledges.


We are asking all walkers to get sponsors to pledge an amount per lap walked. Sponsors can include family members, co-workers, friends and/or corporations just to name a few.

* If you are physically unable to walk/run you can pledge by lap for one of our walkers or you can make a One-Time Donation to support our endeavors to END HOMELESSNESS!

There are also volunteer opportunities available for this event. So if you need some community service hours for school or just want to lend a helping hand, please call us or email volunteers@nemahouse.org.
