Internships with Rock for Hunger

Rock for Hunger is seeking energetic, creative, and passionate interns to apply their talents and strengths to making a difference in our community. Internships are available for College Credit, and include an end of semester presentation about their experience and what they have learned, how their strengths can be applied for a greater good to our Board of Directors, and school officials selected by the students' program.

Event Planning:
Be a part of the Event Planning team to help with the annual music festival that helps end poverty one individual at a time every November. In addition, RFH also puts on many other great fundraiser/awareness events throughout the year. Event planning interns also work on educational/multicultural field trips for less fortunate children in the Central Florida community.

Guerilla Marketing & Social Media Marketing:
Rock for Hunger is honored to have one of the most talented Social Media Marketing professionals in Central Florida serving on our Board of Directors. Take part in our marketing team and learn how to market a growing organization applying guerilla and social media marketing skills. This is a great opportunity for marketing, advertising, event planning, or public relations majors.

Journalism:
Is it your dream to work for a major paper or magazine as an editor? Here is your chance to get some great experience. Be part of Orlando’s street paper “Talk for Hunger” to help create jobs, and awareness about poverty, hunger, homelessness, music, and the local community. Talk for Hunger is a monthly street paper which create jobs for people in need, and empowers individuals by giving a voice to the voiceless.

Nonprofit Management:
Get more involved in the business side of things and work with the our outreach committee and be involved with the cause directly. Our Nonprofit management interns work in the following areas: volunteer appreciation, volunteer recruitment, program development, program planning and assessment, fundraising, and much more.

Creative Team:
Apply your strengths in graphic design, web design, film, and writing for the Rock for Hunger creative team. Work hand in hand with all teams of the organization to design marketing materials, social media online campaigns, promotions videos, documentaries, a monthly newspaper and blogs for Rock for Hunger.
