Vision:
The community standing together as one to help make the world a
better place both locally and globally, with music and in peace.

Mission:
"Rock for Hunger exists to end the cycle of poverty and
homelessness through education and uniting the community.
Through education for children in low income neighborhoods we
strive to end the cycle of generational poverty. By providing
linkages to employment, housing, and other services in the
community we are going to end homelessness one person at a
time through music and peace. "

Our Main Focus Areas to fulfill Mission:

1.) Help the Homeless: By Providing them with Meals, Clothes, Job
Training, Resume Building, Shelter, and giving them a hand up.
-   Started our Monthly Food for the Homeless Program in August of
2006
-   Converted to a weekly program in March of 2007
-   We now help over 100 people every week in Orlando, FL

2.) Tutors & Meals: Helping children in low income neighborhoods
with school work, and providing them with meals. Our goal is to
give them hope to being able to accomplish living a better life than
their parents, by providing them with skills that will help them
succeed in school, and get into college, or other post High School
education.
-   Started our first Tutors & Meals Program in Orlando, FL in
September
of 2007 in one of the poorest areas in Orlando, FL.
-   Some kids don’t eat on weekends, which is why we choose to go
every
Friday.
